Glen Thompson
Born into one of Australia’s most respected racing families. Glen Thompson has spent his entire life immersed in the thoroughbred industry. As the son of premiership-winning trainer Vic Thompson, Glen was introduced to elite horsemanship from an early age, developing a deep understanding of the sport through generations of racing knowledge and success.
Over the years, Glen has built an impressive resume working alongside some of the nation’s leading trainers and within some of the most competitive racing environments in Australia and abroad. His experience spans from major racing hubs, including Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Singapore, giving him a diverse approach to training racehorses at the highest level.
Now training in his own right from world-class facilities at Flemington Racecourse. The headquarters of Australian racing. Glen operates a boutique stable built around hands on care, attention to detail and strong communication with owners.
Despite being early in his training career, Glen has already had Group 1 success and continues to establish himself as a passionate and progressive young horseman with a bright future in the industry.
Glen prides himself on being personally involved in every aspect of his operation.

Our horses have access to boutique racehorse spelling facilities on the Mornington Peninsula and Central North Vicotria. With a variety spelling paddocks there is plenty of space and variety for our horses out on holiday. They are carefully monitored and pre-trained for return by some of the best in the industry.All of our horses live a beautiful life in retirement, with many returning the paddocks at Mornington, Victoria, to live out their twilight years, pampered by the caring team.
Specialist care
We work tirelessly to ensure that the best possible attention is given to each individual horse, with specialists visiting the stable daily to ensure all our horses are given the best possible care. Our specialist team consists of:- Farriers

- Equine Veterinarian
- Our lead Veterinarian, Emma Wood is one of the most experienced Equine Vets around.
Emma has been a passionate and competitive equine enthusiast since the age of 6. She was an avid event rider until the addiction of horse racing took over. She began her career in racing at 17 and has been involved with the industry ever since. Amongst the array of racing experience she has held assistant trainers positions both in England and Melbourne gaining a wealth of knowledge of the equine athlete and international industry complexities. Emma has ridden track work for 20+ years and has a unique perspective on common ailments affecting the racing thoroughbred.
